Carefully lining the adhesive with the square imprint on the case, she let it fall, tracing the edges with her finger to ensure a good fix. Satisfied, she peeled off the excess paper to reveal a second side of tape, over which she placed the window, a black outlined square identifying the unit, and pressed it in. Kim joined the NK team two years ago on January 18, and has been trained in Kestrel (basics and ballistics), DROPs, and packing. She enjoys learning something new now and again as an employee. She says, "I like the fact that you get to learn everything." She also speaks positively about the work, preferring a more hands-on approach, and the opportunity to meet people of all different walks of life.
When not inserting windows or testing products, Kim enjoys spending quality time with her children and grandchild, mainly being their number one fan in basketball, softball, and other sports. "My world revolves around my kids," Kim says, feeling pride in motherhood, and the people her kids have become.
Someday, Kim hopes to zipline through Vegas and take her family on a cruise. But most of all, Kim looks forward to watching her kids grow up and living a healthy, happy life.
