I love my stroke coach surge - it's extremely easy to use and very reliable. Just one small problem... I can't get the backlight to stay on. When we row in the dark it goes on when I first start my row but about 5 minutes in it turns off (and it is still very dark outside). Is there a way to manually keep the backlight lit?

@ Christy
We do provide opportunities to trade in products to upgrade your equipment. Your discount would be dependent on what XL model you have.

Please give us a call and we can provide you with the best option to fit your need and give you the best value.

@ Paul
This is currently only applicable to watercraft: sculling, dragon boating, kayaking, etc.

Was wondering if this product would have an application in the swimming pool. this point may be moot, depending on the size of the unit.

Do you trade in old equipment for newer? Last year I purchased a Stroke Coach XL - I had to return it this spring for repairs as the battery would not charge. You repaired it and sent it back - it works fine. My biggest problem is that I am an adaptive AS or arms only rower and would really love to have the new Stroke Coach as it would do so much more for me. It seems everywhere I go the impeller collects weed. I could not use it at our National team training camp this year (just after it had been returned) because of weeds in the Montreal Olympic basin. What kind of deal would I be able to get? I really need the feedback the stroke coach can give me.

Thanks.
